The Structural Group of Pegasus is focused on the design, fabrication, and installation of onshore and offshore structures. Structural engineers have extensive experience in all aspects of structural design. The group can provide FEED design, detailed design, and project management services. Project experience in the offshore platform arena includes minimal, conventional and salvaged offshore platforms, as well as deck modifications, compressor additions, and platform reassessments.

Pegasus started structural design of platforms in 1992.
Work includes platform design, refurbishment, assessment, damage assessment and repair, as well as appurtenance design, transportation and tie-down design, wing deck design, and platform abandonment engineering.
In conjunction with the use of our complex computer software packages, Pegasus engineers have designed complete platforms in up to 320 feet water depth.
Platform design types include production platforms, drilling platforms, minimal wellhead or well protector platforms, and braced caissons, tapered caissons, and caissons.
Land Based Structural Design
Land-based operations are supported in the design of equipment and building foundations, tank foundations, ringwall design, pipe supports, retaining walls, drainage, and small buildings.
Offshore Pipeline Design Support
Pegasus structural engineers perform extensive design work related to offshore pipelines and pipeline installation.
As the industry progresses into deeper water, extensive design experience is available in the design of subsea structures, or laydown sleds. Pegasus has performed many of these designs for Operators, as well as installation contractors. This includes laydown sleds (PLEM, PLES and PLET Design); anchors and anchor clamps, including SCR anchor clamps; Helical Strake Arrestor clamp; and Net Guards.
